The Worst Person in the World is a modern dramedy about the quest for love and meaning in contemporary Oslo. It chronicles four years in the life of Julie (Renate Reinsve, Cannes Best Actress), a young woman who battles indecisiveness as she traverses her troubled love life and struggles to find her career path, leading her to take a look at who she really is. Oscar-nominated for Best Original Screenplay and Best International Feature Film.
“Unsentimental, brutally honest, and staggeringly complex in its execution, intelligent cinema like this is a rarity.” – Martin Carr
“…swerves from bustling comedy to erotically charged romance to bittersweet drama, executing each tonal shift seamlessly even as plot twists seem to come out of nowhere.” – The Atlantic
