In order to fund a project, scientist Alma (Maren Eggert) participates in an unusual study. For three weeks she must live with Tom (Downtown Abbey’s Dan Stevens), a humanoid robot custom tailored to be her perfect life partner. “A cool and clever sci-fi love story… Edging now and then into the surreal, this unusual and tender little movie gingerly interrogates the gulf between digital and biological wiring.” – New York Times
